GET $250 FOR A TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

As many of you know from my 2018 USFS Trails Maintenance Blogpost, Public Land Stewardship is very important to me. Preserving access for all user groups who recreate responsibly is a mission which I wholly support. I feel everyone should have the opportunity to experience the incredible beauty of wild places but in doing so, they need to be taught the correct way to enjoy a day in the backcountry.

Being a good steward of Pubic Lands requires action and “boots on the ground”. Teaching others Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly Ethics is extremely effective and easy to replicate through planned group activities. You may be asking yourself - How can I help my immediate area by organizing a land stewardship day and invite others to participate so they too can learn how to be good role models for people to recreate responsibly?

ExtremeTerrain seeks to give back to the off-roading community through various philanthropic opportunities and encourages everyone to leave trails better than they found them. ExtremeTerrain’s Clean Trail Grant provides eligible groups the opportunity to apply for financial assistance for these planned activities. If you are part of an off-road group/club with 5 or more members, this program is designed for you. The requirements are listed below…
